The Greater Newburgh Symphony Orchestra has brought exceptional live orchestral music to our community for more than three decades. The continued generosity of our patrons and supporters makes that possible.
Friends of the GNSO is our annual giving program, recognizing the individuals who help sustain the Orchestra through their charitable support.
Ticket sales cover only a portion of the cost of presenting each concert. Contributions from our Friends help provide the financial foundation that allows the GNSO to engage outstanding musicians and guest artists, present ambitious programming, and continue bringing extraordinary orchestral music to audiences throughout the region.

Every donor to the GNSO is a Friend, and every gift makes a difference.
Friends may support the Orchestra at any level, with recognition beginning at the following giving levels:
Supporter — up to $99
Principal Player — $100-$249
Concertmaster — $250-$499
Conductor — $500-$999
Patron’s Circle— $1,000 +
Sustaining Patron — $2,000+
Maestro’s Circle — $5,000 +
Orchestra Circle — $10,000+
Donors are recognized in GNSO concert programs and on our website according to their level of support. Friends who join at the Conductor level and above are invited to be our guests at special seasonal receptions where they can enjoy intimate musical performances and news about upcoming concerts.
ENCORE SOCIETY
Supporters who make a three-year commitment at their chosen giving level are recognized as members of the Encore Society.
Multi-year commitments provide the GNSO with greater financial stability and help us plan confidently for future seasons, special programming, and continued growth.”
